O scanner, how do I hate thee? This is terrible -- absolutely terrible!
At any rate, I did this over the course of three or four days, and finished it up this morning. It is what it is... except not... because my scanner killed it. But the actual painting could use some improvement to begin with.
The one on the left is a stoic little gent named Cypress, and the other is, surprisingly, also a guy. His name is Avery. The two aren't really conjoined, or brothers, but two close friends.

The original piece will be for sale at The Mad Hatter, a bakery-slash-boutique in downtown Mooresville. It is 8x10 and coated with semi-gloss Krylon spray (UV resistant), and there may be prints available, as well.
Materials: Fredrix watercolor canvas board, Cotman watercolors, Winsor & Newton zinc white gouache, Sharpie, acrylic, Staedtler pigment liners [0.3] [0.1]
